ELIE M. KHADRA
The music video takes the familiar message from the Louvin Brothers' "Satan's Jeweled Crown" into the modern context of America in 2021, juxtaposing imagery of techno-capitalism's excesses with the peace and tranquility found in salvation. Each scene is built on iconic images and moments from Judeo-Christian art history.
As the Director, Editor, and Director of Photography, Elie M. Khadra skillfully explored the theme of reflected evil in modern times through bold visual storytelling. His innovative approach involved experimenting with lighting, reflections, and symbolic imagery to create a haunting and powerful narrative. Khadra's creative use of camera techniques, along with meticulous editing, brought the unsettling theme to life, delivering a visually striking piece that challenges viewers to confront the darker aspects of contemporary society.
